Finding the right support to help you in your weight loss journey can increase your chances of success.

You may be eligible for a new offer of free 12 weeks FREE Slimming World if you meet the following criteria.

– Resident in Bromley borough or registered with a Bromley GP Practice

– Your Body Mass Index is 30 or above ( or 27.5 or above if Black or Asian) BMI calculator | Check your BMI – NHS |

However please check the list below as you would NOT be eligible if you:

· Have been a paying member of a weight loss organisation in the past 6 months.

· You have severe/moderate frailty

· You are pregnant.

· You have a diagnosed eating disorder.

· Cannot have had bariatric surgery in the last two years.

or ask you’re the GP Practice if it is appropriate for you as there are several weight loss support programmes available that you may be able to be referred to.

When you telephone Slimming World you will be asked for a recent measurement of your height and weight. The advisor will discuss the Slimming World programme, answer your questions and look to find you a Slimming World group at a time and location suitable for you.

Slimming World offers weekly group support to help you make gradual changes towards a healthy lifestyle.
